Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will hold the "2025 College Admission Early Decision Strategy Seminar" at 10 a.m. on the 24th in the district office auditorium.

The seminar will feature Park Jung-seo, a well-known admissions expert and head of the Etoos Education Career and Admissions Center, as the lecturer. He will guide attendees through key strategies to successfully prepare for the upcoming early decision admissions.

In particular, the seminar will cover major issues in detail, such as the increase in medical school admissions, the expansion of non-major selection, and the abolition of designated elective subjects for the CSAT. Given the many variables in the 2025 college admissions process, the latest trends will be thoroughly examined.

The lecture is designed to be a comprehensive two-hour session. It will provide an analysis of the 2025 early decision admissions, characteristics of each university, and tailored acceptance strategies. Attendees will also receive the "2025 Early Decision Strategy Guidebook," which contains key university admission guidelines.

Applications are open from the 14th to the 21st of this month on the Gwangjin-gu Office website. The seminar will accept up to 400 applicants on a first-come, first-served basis, including repeat test takers and parents interested in the event. For more details, please contact the Education Support Division.

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "We prepared this early decision seminar to provide accurate and useful information amid rapidly changing admissions policies," adding, "We hope it helps students develop winning strategies aligned with their desired career paths to achieve the best results."

Additionally, Gwangjin-gu operates a one-on-one mentoring program with university students. Students from 3rd grade middle school to 3rd grade high school, including repeat test takers, can receive admissions counseling from current university students of their desired schools. The second session will recruit 200 participants on a first-come, first-served basis in August.
