Busan Port Authority Invites Public Proposals for This Year's Port Innovation

Busan Port Authority (BPA) will hold the "2024 Port Innovation National Proposal Contest" under the theme "The Busan Port Desired and Needed by the People" from August 5 to September 1.

The purpose of the contest is to collect ideas for the establishment and improvement of port services and facilities utilizing new technologies from the Fourth Industrial Revolution, aiming to achieve more innovative and efficient port operations.

Busan Port Authority will select a total of six outstanding proposals through evaluation by external experts, awarding one Grand Prize, two Excellence Prizes, and three Encouragement Prizes. The selected ideas will also be pursued in connection with the authority's innovation projects.

Anyone can participate. Interested individuals can download the application and proposal forms from the official Busan Port Authority website, complete them, and submit them via email to the designated contact person.

BPA President Kang Junseok stated, "In order to achieve innovations in port operations that the public can truly feel and to ensure the sustainable development of the port community, we need creative and original ideas from both port users and workers. We ask for your keen interest and active participation in on-site innovation through communication and collaboration."
