Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical is strengthening its lineup by renewing the design of the Pen Series along with the launch of new products.
Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical, a company specializing in over-the-counter drugs, announced on the 5th that it has launched two new products: the pain relievers ‘Dapureopen Tablets’ and ‘Purepen Soft Capsules.’ Along with the launch of these new products, the company also renewed the packaging of its pain reliever brand ‘Pen Series,’ enhancing visibility with a variety of colors and a unified design.
‘Dapureopen Tablets’ is a pain reliever that helps patients suffering from neuralgia, lower back pain, and stiff shoulders. Each tablet contains 150mg of chlorzoxazone, 150mg of ethenzamide, and 25mg of caffeine hydrate. For adults, the recommended dosage is 1 to 2 tablets per dose, taken twice a day when experiencing pain or spasms.
‘Purepen Soft Capsules’ is a liquid-type pain reliever with a four-component complex formula. This product is effective not only for relieving various pains such as menstrual cramps, headaches, toothaches, post-extraction pain, sore throat, ear pain, joint pain, neuralgia, lower back pain, muscle pain, stiff shoulders, bruises, fracture pain, sprain pain, and trauma pain, but also for chills and fever reduction.
Each capsule contains 200mg of ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, 25mg of parmbrom, 50mg of magnesium oxide which has muscle relaxant and antispasmodic effects, and 2mg of riboflavin (vitamin B2).
‘Purepen Soft Capsules’ feature a special dual soft capsule formulation that enhances formulation stability and maximizes the duration of efficacy. This product should be taken on an empty stomach with intervals of at least 4 hours. For those aged 15 and older, the recommended dosage is 1 to 3 times a day, 1 to 2 capsules per dose. Additionally, children and adolescents aged 8 to under 15 can take 1 capsule per dose, 1 to 3 times a day, which is another advantage.
A marketing representative from Gyeongnam Pharmaceutical stated, “We have strengthened our lineup by launching new products and improving the overall design of the pain reliever brand ‘Pen Series.’ We utilized dynamic design elements to help consumers who want fast relief understand the product better, and directly depicted the pill shape on the case, which is a distinctive feature.” He added, “We will continue to focus on product development to enhance patient benefits.”
Meanwhile, ‘Dapureopen Tablets’ and ‘Purepen Soft Capsules’ are over-the-counter drugs available for purchase at pharmacies.
