Bulgogi Burger Single Item Raised by 100 Won
"Cost Increase Burden... Inevitable Adjustment for Franchise Stores"
The price of the Lotteria Bulgogi Burger set will increase from the current 6,900 won to 7,100 won.
Lotteria operator Lotte GRS announced on the 5th that it will raise the prices of 20 types of burgers by an average of 2.2% starting from the 8th.
The most popular Bulgogi and Shrimp burgers will increase by 100 won for single items and 200 won for set menus. As a result, the Bulgogi Burger will be sold at 4,800 won for single items and 7,100 won for sets.
The Shrimp Burger will also be raised to 4,800 won for single items and 7,100 won for sets.
Lotte GRS cited several internal and external cost increase factors as the reason for the price hike, including ▲increased ancillary costs for delivery services ▲rising raw material prices ▲increased logistics fees and labor costs.
A Lotte GRS official explained, "Since the price increase in February last year, the franchise headquarters has been trying to absorb the burden of rising costs, but now it has become inevitable to adjust the selling price to protect the profits of franchise stores."
