A current professional baseball coach was arrested by the police for refusing a breathalyzer test in the heart of Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
On the 29th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul apprehended and is investigating a man in his 30s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (refusal to take a breathalyzer test). Mr. A is known to be a former professional baseball player and a current coach for a well-known professional baseball team.
Mr. A is accused of refusing the police's request for a breathalyzer test around 6:30 a.m. in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The police responded to a report that Mr. A was driving under the influence and requested a breathalyzer test, but he refused. Consequently, the police arrested Mr. A on the spot for refusal to take the breathalyzer test.
A police official stated, "He was arrested and is under investigation for refusal to take the breathalyzer test," adding, "We cannot disclose further details."
