Samsung Securities Offers '5% Annual Special Bond' to Branch Customers

Samsung Securities announced on the 26th that it will conduct special bond sales, bond purchase amount rewards, and a stock and bond transfer-in event for branch customers.

First, an opportunity to purchase special bonds with a pre-tax annual yield of 5% based on individual bank conversion will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis with a monthly limit of 30 billion KRW. This event is for individual customers, with a pre-tax bank yield of 7.1% for those in the highest tax bracket, and the minimum subscription amount is 500 million KRW. Customers can purchase up to 1 billion KRW based on net deposit amounts, and if the customer’s balance reaches 3 billion KRW or more after deposit, the purchase limit increases up to 3 billion KRW. The event ends when the limit is exhausted.

Rewards will also be provided to customers who purchase bonds upon meeting the conditions. Customers who deposit 1 billion KRW or more into Samsung Securities and purchase bonds (government bonds, US Treasury bonds, corporate bonds) with a maturity of 3 years or longer are eligible for rewards: 2 million KRW for bond purchases of 1 billion KRW or more, and 5 million KRW for 3 billion KRW or more. The purchase must be made by October 31, and the balance must be maintained until the end of this year.

A transfer-in event is also underway, where customers transferring domestic and overseas stocks and bonds held at other companies to Samsung Securities will receive gift certificates worth up to 1 million KRW. The reward is 100,000 KRW per 1 billion KRW transferred, up to a maximum of 300,000 KRW. Customers whose balance reaches 3 billion KRW or more after the transfer will receive an additional 700,000 KRW. This applies to customers who transfer by September 30, with a balance maintenance condition until the end of November.

For first-time Samsung Securities customers with balances of 3 billion KRW or more, a welcome gift will be presented, and existing customers who introduce new customers with balances of 3 billion KRW or more will receive a referral gift if they hold a balance of 100 million KRW or more.
