Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that it will conduct an online and paper survey related to a healthy city for residents until August 31.
The survey was prepared to understand the overall demand of residents regarding a healthy city, to be used as basic data for mid- to long-term development, and to promote various healthy city projects.
The demand survey consists of 12 questions related to interest and awareness of health, awareness and importance of a healthy city, satisfaction with the residential area, necessity of smart health management, experience and satisfaction with public health center projects in the region.
The district conducts the survey targeting children and adolescents, youth, middle-aged, and elderly to reflect the needs of various age groups. The survey is conducted with the cooperation of departments in charge of projects by age group and institutions frequently used by each age group, such as career guidance centers, Cheongchun Building, and senior welfare centers.
Residents can participate in the survey through the Geumcheon-gu Office website and social network service QR codes or connection addresses. Among the survey participants, 250 people will be selected by lottery to receive prizes.
Based on the analysis results of the healthy city resident demand survey, the district plans to set mid- to long-term policy directions for a healthy city.
In addition, to promote policies reflecting residents' health needs, the district is conducting a "Mid- to Long-term Development Strategy Establishment Service for Promoting a Healthy City in Geumcheon-gu." The service includes comprehensive collection, analysis, and organization of information focusing on the city's health status and health determinants, as well as strategies and evaluation plans prepared to realize a healthy city.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, "Based on the results of this survey, we plan to identify residents' health demands and promote various healthy city projects," adding, "We will do our best to create a sustainable healthy city environment."
