On the 16th, Jung-gu District in Seoul announced that it will conduct a joint campaign along with guidance and crackdowns to improve illegal activities involving two-wheeled and three-wheeled vehicles.

Jung-gu has many narrow alleys without clear separation between sidewalks and roadways, where residential areas and printing shops are densely mixed. Due to this, complaints regarding vehicles transporting printed materials have been continuously raised.

Jung-gu, in cooperation with the Jungbu Police Station, has decided to carry out intensive guidance and crackdowns until the end of next month. Until the 17th, a campaign will be conducted visiting printing companies to inform them about illegal activities of two-wheeled vehicles such as riding on sidewalks and driving against traffic on roads.

Until the end of next month, there will be focused crackdowns on violations of the Motor Vehicle Management Act, including unregistered operation and illegal structural modifications, as well as violations of the Road Traffic Act such as riding on sidewalks, driving against traffic, speeding, and overloading. Additionally, to prevent illegal modifications of three-wheeled vehicles, inspections and guidance will be conducted at major local businesses, along with crackdowns on sites of illegal modifications.
