Jang Kyung-ik, Former CEO of Studio&New, Appointed as CEO of Studio Dragon

CJ ENM's production company Studio Dragon announced on the 15th that Jang Kyung-ik, former CEO of Studio&New, has been appointed as the new CEO.

New CEO Jang joined the media group NEW in 2008, serving as the head of the film business division and CEO. From 2019 to 2020, he served as CEO of Studio&New, NEW's content production company, while concurrently holding the position of CEO at NEW.

His past productions include the dramas "Descendants of the Sun" and "Doctor Cha Jeong-suk," as well as the film "The Great Battle." Last year, he achieved global success with the series "Moving," released on Disney+.

Studio Dragon stated, "With this recruitment, we plan to solidify our position as a studio leading K-content in the global market."
