Since last month, KT has visited a total of eight areas, starting with Yeongam-eup in Yeongam County, followed by Sinbuk-myeon, Gunseo-myeon, Haksan-myeon, and others, providing various customized education programs for seniors, including the use of smart devices and kiosks, voice phishing prevention education, and smart brain vitality programs based on ICT technology.

KT offered seniors who are not familiar with using kiosks the opportunity for hands-on learning by allowing them to operate educational devices themselves to order food or issue civil documents. Additionally, they provided guidance on cases of voice phishing, which has become a social issue, and how to respond to different types of scams.

One senior who participated in the education said, “Recently, unmanned ordering is common everywhere, and I often gave up ordering because I was reluctant to use it. But after experiencing the kiosk firsthand today, I gained a lot of confidence.” He added, “They also explained in detail how to deal with voice phishing, so I feel like I received education that helps me save money by preventing damage.”
