As the monsoon temporarily subsides and the heatwave returns on the 12th, a child visiting the fountain at Gwanghwamun Square in Jongno-gu, Seoul, is cooling off by playing in the water. The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that the weekend would bring a heatwave with temperatures rising up to 33 degrees Celsius in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas.
