Hancom Launches Beta Version of AI Intelligent Document Creation Tool 'Hancom Assistant' 원본보기 아이콘

Hancom announced on the 28th that it has launched the beta version of 'Hancom Assistant,' an artificial intelligence (AI) intelligent document creation tool, and has begun PoC (Proof of Concept) targeting public institutions and enterprises.


Scheduled for official release in the second half of this year, Hancom Assistant automatically creates documents tailored to the user's intent by understanding the content and analyzing user intentions using AI models suited to the customer's environment when the user issues commands in natural language. It can be used in conjunction with the latest version of the Hancom Office package and is planned to be integrated with various applications and web services.


Hancom Assistant is characterized by supporting efficient document creation. It consists of a chatbot that recognizes natural language commands to assist in accurate and rapid document creation, an 'AI Hub' optimized prompt engine that helps quickly and easily create context-appropriate documents, and 'Hancom sLLM,' a large language model (LLM) specialized for document creation that supports closed network environments.


By inputting only basic information, it completes document drafts or automatically generates content by understanding user intent. It also provides customized frequently used templates and automatically corrects confusing spelling errors, helping users easily manage the entire document creation process from start to finish. Additionally, it automates simple repetitive tasks so users can focus on the purpose of document creation. It can search for necessary content by referring to existing documents or extract desired parts from documents to automatically create formatted documents.


In particular, it supports smart document creation even in closed network environments where external network-connected LLMs such as ChatGPT cannot be used. Hancom stated that when linked with Hancompedia, customers can utilize their document information as a database to improve accuracy while minimizing hallucination phenomena, allowing safe use even in security-sensitive environments.


Furthermore, functions such as OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and STT (Speech-to-Text) can be easily added according to customer needs, and separate modules tailored to the unique document creation workflows of client companies can be developed and integrated.


The main functions of Hancom Assistant provided through this PoC focus on enhancing work convenience and efficiency centered on documents, including ▲providing templates for official documents, plans, and business reports ▲drafting documents ▲summarizing documents ▲generating titles ▲loading frequently used forms ▲searching document content. Hancom has already conducted PoCs of Hancom Assistant with Gyeonggi Provincial Government, Korea Electric Power Corporation, and others.
