On the 25th, the Daejeon Fire Headquarters conducted an emergency fire safety inspection at a battery-related manufacturing plant located in Gwanpyeong-dong, Yuseong-gu.

Following a large fire that occurred on the 24th at a battery-related manufacturer in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, the inspection checked △ the operation status of the self-defense fire brigade's initial response △ maintenance status of fire alarms and extinguishing equipment △ and whether emergency escape routes inside the factory were secured.

The Fire Headquarters also plans to conduct fire safety inspections at 16 related companies within the jurisdiction.

Kang Dae-hoon, head of the Daejeon Fire Headquarters, stated, “Through this fire safety inspection, we will do our best to prevent large fires and ensure that there are no casualties.”
