Wolseong Nuclear Power Headquarters held the '2024 First Half Wolseong Headquarters Regional Communication Program.'

This program, organized to improve the quality of life for residents and promote regional development, was attended by a total of 41 people, including Director Kim Hanseong, residents of Donggyeongju (Gampo-eup, Munmudaewang-myeon, Yangnam-myeon), village heads, women's association members, and Wolseong Headquarters employees.

The communication program was moderated by Park Susan, Director of the Conflict Resolution & Peace Center, and was conducted in five groups under the theme of 'Discovering Support Projects for Sustainable Regional Development.'

Before the group discussions, there was a session introducing the operator's support projects and a Q&A, providing an overview of the basis for the operator's support projects, the target regions, and key projects of Wolseong Headquarters in 2023 and 2024.

Director Kim Hanseong stated, "Wolseong Headquarters is making every effort to ensure the safe operation of the power plant," and added, "We will strive to communicate actively by quickly delivering information about nuclear power plant operations to local residents and having plant experts and the regional cooperation department visit and provide explanations."
