Attendees included Jinwoo Jeong, Vice President of Zigbang Smart Home Business Division, and Woongjun Jang, Vice President of SK Shieldus Physical Security Business Division.
Through the agreement, both parties agreed to actively cooperate in ▲ sales and distribution channel partnerships ▲ development and sales of security products for multi-family housing landlords and individual users ▲ joint business promotion to secure competitiveness in apartment smart homes.
Zigbang Smart Home has been providing smart home solutions capable of managing access security for multi-family housing complexes and individual households. Its dedicated smart home app service enhances the mobile usability of hardware devices such as door locks, wall pads, and lobby phones.
Accordingly, Zigbang plans to offer differentiated products and services in the home security solution field by integrating its own smart home solution with SK Shieldus’s AI-based home CCTV 'CapsHome', ADT Caps dispatch security, and fire insurance services.
Zigbang Smart Home and SK Shieldus will first partner in sales and distribution channels to increase awareness and boost sales of each product and service. They also aim to launch an integrated residential security product for one-room and villa residents in the second half of this year.
They will also explore cooperation plans to enhance competitiveness in the apartment smart home market. Considerations include strengthening interoperability between the Zigbang Smart Home app and SK Shieldus security services, and jointly developing new products combining Zigbang door locks and SK Shieldus home security solutions.
Zigbang Smart Home has set a goal to lead the smart home security market targeting apartment construction companies. Within this year, it plans to introduce new door locks and lobby phones that maximize user convenience while strengthening security for shared entrances and individual household access in multi-family housing, along with a dedicated smart home app service.
Vice President Jinwoo Jeong said, "Zigbang Smart Home has been providing innovative technology-based smart home solutions that prioritize users' residential safety. We will work closely with SK Shieldus to present more advanced products and services and jointly lead the domestic smart home security solution market."
