BS Industry, an affiliate of Boseong Group, has launched an architectural design competition to create a leisure and resort-style residential complex with 4,200 households in the eco-friendly future city "Solarisdo," currently being developed in Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do.
According to BS Industry on the 20th, the design targets include the "Solarisdo Golf & Village (SGV)," a leisure housing complex of about 2,000 households within the Solarisdo site, along with a clubhouse, sports center, shopping center, central garden, and other mixed community facilities. Additionally, the design must cover a resort condominium complex of approximately 2,200 households and outdoor sports community facilities such as golf, fishing, horseback riding, and yachting. The total site area is about 530,000㎡ (four condominium lots totaling 499,829㎡ and three community lots totaling 31,014㎡).
BS Industry will select the design firm through a designated competition among specialized companies with proven experience in designing luxury housing, condominiums, and mixed community facilities. On the 19th, a site briefing was held, attended by major architectural firms.

BS Industry expects the residential complex development project within Solarisdo to accelerate starting with this competition. In addition to the SGV and resort condominium complex, BS Industry plans a low-density, low-rise "healthcare complex" of about 1,000 households. Upon completion, a total of 5,000 households will be established in this specialized residential district.
A BS Industry official stated, "Through this design competition, we will adopt creative ideas and design plans that align with Solarisdo’s development goal of a 'sustainable city where nature, people, and technology coexist,' thereby creating a specialized residential complex that can lead a new residential culture."
Meanwhile, Solarisdo is an eco-friendly future city being developed on approximately 20.9 million㎡ (about 6.32 million pyeong) in the Haenam-gun area of Jeollanam-do. It is a large-scale public-private cooperative urban development project involving Boseong Group affiliates such as Hanyang and BS Industry, as well as Jeollanam-do and Haenam-gun.
