The owner of a car illegally parked occupying two disabled parking spaces is causing controversy.
On the 15th, a post titled "The best parking I've ever seen" was uploaded on an online community. The author, Mr. A, said, "There are plenty of parking spots, but this is impressive," and shared several photos of the situation.
In the photos posted by Mr. A, a white SUV is illegally parked in a disabled parking space. The vehicle is parked diagonally, occupying two parking spots. Stickers on the rear window read "Child on board" and "Baby in the car (Child on board)".
Mr. A said, "I checked to see if the driver was disabled, but there was no (disabled) sticker," and added, "I reported it to Safe Report, but I don't know what the outcome will be. I want to ask how to handle such inconsiderate parking in the future."
Netizens who saw the story responded with comments such as, "Judging by the parking, it looks like drunk driving," "This is the worst parking ever," "They should be fined heavily once so they won't do this again," "They should be issued a disability certificate," "As the weather gets hotter and the rain comes and goes, this is expected," "Having a child is not an excuse," "It seems they parked like this to reserve two spots for a family car arriving late," and "This is unforgivable."
Meanwhile, if a non-disabled person or a vehicle without a disabled parking permit parks in a disabled parking space, a fine of 100,000 KRW can be imposed.
