Choo Kyung-ho, the floor leader of the People Power Party, proposed a public debate on the formation of the National Assembly to Park Chan-dae, the floor leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.
On the 14th, Choo held a party meeting at the National Assembly and said, "I propose a public debate in front of the people with Democratic Party floor leader Park on the topic of negotiations for the formation of the National Assembly," adding, "Any format is welcome. I will wait for the response from the Democratic Party floor leader."

We demand a full restoration of the wrongly formed National Assembly," and added, "Up to now, from the election of 11 standing committee chairs, the scheduling of standing committee meetings, to the submission of various bills, not a single action can be considered legitimate." He further emphasized, "At the very least, as the Democratic Party requested twice during the previous formation negotiations, we hope they will return the Legislation and Judiciary Committee, the Steering Committee, and the Science, Technology, Information and Broadcasting Committee to square one and engage in negotiations."
After the party meeting, Choo responded to reporters' questions about whether the party meetings would continue next week by saying, "I don't know if it will be in the same form, but there will continue to be meetings with the members."
