A Man in His 30s Arrested for Killing a Homeless Person Near Seoul Station... Police Request Arrest Warrant

A man in his 30s who killed a homeless person with a weapon in front of Seoul Station on Memorial Day was arrested by the police.

On the 8th, the Namdaemun Police Station in Seoul applied for an arrest warrant for Mr. A, a man in his 30s suspected of murder the previous day.

Mr. A is accused of stabbing a homeless man in his 60s to death with a weapon near Seoul Station around 4 a.m. on the 6th.

Mr. A came to the police station the same day and surrendered, reportedly stating that he committed the crime after hearing auditory hallucinations.

The police are skeptical about Mr. A's statement and are investigating the specific circumstances of the incident.
