The recent status of Jeon Woo-won (28), the grandson of Jeon Du-hwan who was sentenced to a suspended prison term for habitual drug use, has been reported. He recently participated in signature campaigns while working at a drug addiction prevention center.

The Drug and Addiction Prevention Center On the Campus (DAPCOC) for universities shared on the 31st of last month that Jeon Woo-won was engaged in drug addiction prevention activities on a university campus in Seoul.

According to DAPCOC, Jeon Woo-won participated in drug prevention activities at a drug prevention campaign booth held over two days, the 27th and 28th of last month, at Chung-Ang University Seoul Campus. He met with students and conducted a campaign to collect signatures on a pledge stating, "I will not use drugs." He was also captured shyly smiling while chanting slogans together with the organization.

Many photos of Jeon with citizens at the site were shared on social media. In the photos taken under a blue banner, he looked directly at the camera with a bright smile and short hairstyle. His deep dimples and slimmed face were also noticeable.

The clothes he wore at the time had "DAPCOC" written on them. "DAPCOC" stands for "Drug & Addiction Prevention Center On the Campus," a drug and addiction prevention center for universities.

The organization was established in December last year, with Park Sang-gyu, the senior pastor of Korea University Church, serving as secretary-general, and Jo Sung-nam, former director of the National Forensic Hospital and a leading figure in drug treatment, serving as an advisor.

Earlier, the Seoul High Court Criminal Division 1-3 (Presiding Judges Ma Yong-ju, Han Chang-hoon, Kim Woo-jin) sentenced Jeon in April to 2 years and 6 months in prison with a 4-year probation, the same as the first trial, on charges including violation of the Narcotics Control Act (psychotropic substances).

Jeon is accused of habitually using LSD, marijuana, and ecstasy while residing in the United States from October 2022 to March last year. He is also accused of purchasing LSD and ketamine multiple times from drug dealers, paying between 25,000 and 1,050,000 won.

Since then, he has continued various volunteer activities. On the anniversary of the May 18 Democratic Movement last year, he volunteered making rice balls with the Mothers of May.
