Lee Jun-seok, a member of the Reform New Party, predicted that Han Dong-hoon, former Emergency Response Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, will run in the People Power Party's leadership election. Regarding the various reports related to the prosecution's investigation of First Lady Kim Geon-hee, he pointed out that it is a "prosecution's test of public opinion."
On the 6th, Lee appeared on CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show' and said about Han's candidacy for the leadership election, "It seems he will run, but it is questionable what he intends to do by running." He added, "Han must achieve results to be recognized as the next stage leader," and pointed out, "The first thing is to answer whether he is pro-Yoon or anti-Yoon."

When the host asked, "If Han Dong-hoon becomes the leader, do you think the People Power Party might shift to a pro-special prosecution stance?" Lee replied, "There is nothing special besides that. If he is going to do that, then he can run," and argued, "Then Yongsan will have reasonable doubts. The logic will be, 'He is running for that, so we must stop him. Let's break (Han's) leg and go.'
He continued, "In a similar context, I thought Han Dong-hoon would speak out and open his mouth about the straight ball, and clarify his stance on the Marine Corps special prosecution, but he remained silent," and criticized, "If he supports the special prosecution, he can run in the leadership election."
Regarding the prosecution's summons of First Lady Kim Geon-hee, he diagnosed it as a "test of public opinion." When the host asked, "There are reports that the prosecution has decided to summon First Lady Kim Geon-hee for investigation and even put her on the photo line," he analyzed, "The prosecution is putting the sword in and out of the sheath, watching public reaction."
Lee said, "There was not much public backlash about this," and added, "Therefore, it seems the prosecution has confirmed that summoning her would not cause a big problem."
Regarding whether the prosecution will actually put Kim on the photo line, he said, "That is truly a political judgment, and I think they are currently monitoring the reaction," and predicted, "Those who will decide are probably collecting big data from comments and so on about the (photo line)."
