Earlier, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul confirmed that the black box memory card of Kim Ho-jung's vehicle, who is suspected of violating the Road Traffic Act, had disappeared and applied for a search warrant on the 14th. Kim Ho-jung is suspected of fleeing after colliding with an oncoming taxi while changing lanes on a road in Apgujeong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, around 11:40 p.m. on the 9th. There is also evidence that Kim Ho-jung's side attempted a driver swap after the accident.
The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident, not ruling out the possibility of Kim Ho-jung's drunk driving, and have also booked Kim Ho-jung's manager for false confession. Meanwhile, A, the representative of Kim Ho-jung's agency, reportedly appeared at the police station and testified, "I instructed the driver swap." A's side also claims to have a recorded phone call supporting this statement. The police are expanding the investigation, viewing this testimony as an attempt at organizational concealment by the agency.
