A claim has been made that a Japanese man under investigation for sexually assaulting and forcibly molesting two Korean women is a well-known plastic surgeon who has even appeared on TV programs. Personal information such as this man's past TV appearances, name, age, and social media (SNS) accounts are being actively shared among netizens.

On the 13th, Japanese online communities and X (formerly Twitter) saw repeated claims that one of the three Japanese men arrested in Korea on charges of quasi-rape and quasi-forcible molestation is a famous plastic surgeon named Mr. A. A Japanese netizen B, who first made this claim, stated, "One of the three Japanese men in their 30s arrested in Seoul is Mr. A, who currently works at a well-known plastic surgery clinic," and also shared screenshots from previous TV programs featuring Mr. A.

Earlier, on the 8th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that they had apprehended three Japanese male suspects just before their departure, who were under investigation for sexually assaulting and forcibly molesting two women. They are accused of molesting and raping two Korean women who were in a state of helplessness in mid-last month in Seoul. The police applied for arrest warrants fearing flight risk, but it is reported that the court dismissed the warrants.
