On the 5th, KT announced that it had invited more than 650 employees and their families to the Seoul Arts Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul, the previous day to attend the "Classical Concert with Heart." The Classical Concert with Heart is a cultural sharing project launched in 2021 for employees' families. It consists of classical music performances and events and is held as a matinee concert on weekday mornings.

In celebration of Children's Day, KT specially moved the concert time to Saturday morning and held the event for employees with elementary school children who found it difficult to attend weekday concerts.

At this concert, KT provided surprise gifts such as bubble wands to the attending employees' children and arranged a photo time with actors dressed as the main characters of a fairy tale play.

Park Hee-jin, who attended the performance, said, "It was a happy time to comfortably enjoy a classical performance with my family," adding, "Especially, the concert guide’s commentary, which included the history and behind-the-scenes stories of the classical pieces, was easy to listen to as if hearing a story, making it feel like watching a fairy tale."

Meanwhile, KT has been practicing various activities to realize cultural sharing. Since 2009, it has presented high-quality classical performances through "Saturday Afternoon Chamber Music," held over 300 times, and has also conducted the "Classical Concert with Heart" at the Seoul Arts Center on the last Friday of every month for 34 sessions.

Since 2014, KT has invited visually impaired individuals to the Classical Concert with Heart, supporting their attendance and providing a separate space for them to socialize after the performance.

KT also runs "Lunch Concerts" with young artists from the startup "Bravi," visiting headquarters in the metropolitan area and across the country. Held during lunchtime, these concerts have been praised for revitalizing employees at regional headquarters who have fewer opportunities to enjoy arts and cultural benefits compared to those in the metropolitan area.

Oh Tae-sung, Head of KT’s ESG Management Promotion Team, said, "I hope KT’s cultural sharing activities, carried out over 15 years, will become a small light and salt in supporting cultural arts in Korea."
