The three major indices of the U.S. New York stock market all closed lower on the 30th (local time).
On this day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.49% compared to the previous trading day. The S&P 500 index, focused on large-cap stocks, and the Nasdaq index, centered on technology stocks, closed down 1.57% and 2.04% respectively from the previous trading day.
