Mapo-gu Holds Sponsor Appreciation Day... A Special Time Sharing Warm Hearts

Mapo-gu (Mayor Park Gang-su) held the '2024 Mapo-gu Supporters Appreciation Day' event on the afternoon of the 30th at the seminar room of Mapo Central Library.

'Appreciation Day' is an event organized by Mapo-gu to express gratitude to supporters who participated in neighbor-helping projects and resident-participation filial piety meal projects, and to spread a culture of donation in the community.

About 100 people, including Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo-gu, and supporters who extended warm hands for Mapo, attended the event and brightened the occasion.

The event opened with a performance by the Heart Heart Ensemble for people with developmental disabilities, and Mayor Park Gang-su presented certificates of commendation, plaques of appreciation, and letters of thanks to the supporters, expressing his gratitude.

Mayor Park Gang-su said, "I sincerely thank the supporters who have conveyed courage and hope to our Mapo through their donations," and added, "I ask for your continued warm interest so that Mapo can become a place full of filial piety and sharing."

He continued, "Mapo-gu will do its best to create an advanced Mapo where children, people with disabilities, and the elderly can live happily."

The final segment of the event, the Sharing Talk Concert, was hosted by announcer Lee Jae-yong. Mayor Park Gang-su also participated, spreading the district's welfare vision of 'Silppuri Welfare,' which aims for meticulous welfare permeating the lives of all residents, and the value of sharing.
