Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) is recruiting the 3rd generation of its official SNS channel supporters, ‘Biparang’.
‘Biparang’ combines ‘BPA + rang (together, love)’ and signifies supporters who are always with Busan Port Authority and love Busan Port.
Starting with the 1st generation in 2022, ‘Biparang’ plays a role in widely promoting BPA’s key policies and issues from the public’s perspective to enhance understanding of Busan Port.
The recruitment competition rate, which was 4:1 for the 1st generation, rose to 10:1 for the 2nd generation last year, raising expectations for the 3rd generation recruitment. This reflects the success of BPA’s ‘Biparang’ branding strategy.
Through the 3rd generation ‘Biparang’ recruitment, BPA plans to quickly incorporate rapidly changing trends into SNS content and further increase public interest in Busan Port and BPA.
The 3rd generation ‘Biparang’ is open to all citizens, and the selected supporters will be active for three months starting in June in two fields: ‘video’ and webtoons/essays.
BPA will accept applications from May 1 to May 22, and after screening, will select the 3rd generation supporters by the end of May.
Kang Jun-seok, President of BPA, said, “Following the outstanding performance of the 2nd generation last year, expectations for the 3rd generation are high. The main task of this Biparang activity is to quickly and warmly communicate BPA’s image through SNS from Biparang’s fresh perspectives. We will continuously strive to reflect rapidly changing trends in SNS content with Biparang members in each field to raise public interest so that just hearing the word ‘Biparang’ will remind people of BPA.”
