Dong-A University, 7th 'General Education Student Evaluation Group' Launch Ceremony

The College of Liberal Arts at Dong-A University held the inauguration ceremony for the 7th 'Liberal Arts Education Student Evaluation Team.'

The ceremony, held at the College of Humanities and Sciences on Dong-A University's Seunghak Campus, was attended by Dean Kim Jin-kyung, officials from the College of Liberal Arts, and members of the Student Evaluation Team.

The evaluation team includes ▲ Team Leader Hong Ki-hyun (Department of Education, 4th year) ▲ Deputy Team Leader Kim Eun-ji (Department of Economics, 3rd year) ▲ Members Kim Do-hyun (Department of Finance, 2nd year), Bae Yoon-jung (Department of Business Administration, 2nd year), Son Min-hee (Department of Fashion Design, 3rd year), Kim Sung-yoon (Department of Public Administration, 3rd year), Lee Kang-hee (Department of Business Administration, 3rd year), and Lee Chae-eun (Department of Tourism Management, 4th year), totaling eight members.

The Student Evaluation Team will be active until November, undertaking tasks such as analyzing preferences for liberal arts courses among enrolled students, analyzing the latest trends, exploring and proposing liberal arts courses in preparation for the 4th Industrial Revolution, and planning and producing promotional content for liberal arts courses and extracurricular programs.

Courses established based on proposals from the Student Evaluation Team include 'Crime and Psychology,' 'Understanding Addiction,' 'Understanding Gender,' 'Who am I,' and 'Labor Rights and Law.'

Dean Kim said, “Launched in 2018 as part of the University Innovation Support Project, the Dong-A University Liberal Arts Education Student Evaluation Team has shown outstanding results by proposing new liberal arts courses through various surveys and data analysis. We look forward to the diverse activities of the 7th Student Evaluation Team and promise the university's active support.”

Hong Ki-hyun, a 4th-year student in the Department of Education and team leader, stated, “While good results and achievements are important, I believe the process is equally important. I will strive to communicate actively throughout the year and create a cooperative atmosphere where we help each other.”
