IBK Investment & Securities announced on the 30th that it received the Anti-Corruption Management System (ISO 37001) certification from the Korea Management Registrar (KMR) on the 29th. ISO 37001 is an international standard established to support the establishment and implementation of systems to prevent and respond to organizational corruption.

IBK Investment & Securities established the anti-corruption management system through the preparation of anti-corruption related regulations, strict internal audits, and employee training, and obtained the ISO 37001 certification by passing the first-stage document review and second-stage on-site audit conducted by the official certification body, Korea Management Registrar.

Since the appointment of CEO Seo Jeong-hak last year, IBK Investment & Securities has devoted great effort to strengthening internal control and establishing ethical management by conducting internal control consulting through external law firms and preparing a company-wide response system. Recently, the anonymity of the internal reporting system was enhanced, and an external reporting system was newly established.

Seo Jeong-hak, CEO of IBK Investment & Securities, said, "As a result of our continuous efforts for ethical management, we were able to obtain the anti-corruption management system certification. We will make 2024 the ‘first year of substantial internal control strengthening’ and do our best to develop a clean organizational culture and become IBK Investment & Securities trusted by the public and small and medium-sized enterprises."
