In the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on the 29th (local time), she received 5.01 points, climbing two spots from 7th place last week. She earned points by finishing tied for 4th at the JM Eagle LA Championship (total prize money $3.75 million) on the LPGA Tour, which concluded the day before at Wilshire Country Club (par 71, 6,258 yards) in Los Angeles, California, USA. This is her best result among the four tournaments she has participated in this year.
Nelly Korda, Lydia Ko, C?line Boutier (France), and Yin Ruoning (China) maintained their positions from 1st to 4th place. Hannah Green (Australia), the winner of the JM Eagle LA Championship, rose two spots to 10th place. Kim Hyo-joo is 12th, Yang Hee-young 17th, and Shin Ji-ae is in 20th place. Korean players improved their world rankings after achieving good results in last week's tournament. Yoo Hae-ran, who finished 3rd, jumped four spots to 27th place. Lim Jin-hee, who tied for 4th, rose six spots to 36th place. Lee Jung-min, who won the KLPGA Championship, a major tournament on the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour, made a remarkable leap of 96 spots to 117th place.
