Kakao's live commerce platform Kakao Shopping Live announced on the 30th that its influencer special event, held for 24 hours, surpassed a cumulative viewership of 1.4 million.
The 'Influencer Pick' special event, which started on the 26th, featured a lineup of famous influencers spanning beauty, food, and living categories. A total of 23 influencers participated, more than doubling the number from the influencer one-day event held last November.
The main products showcased in Influencer Pick numbered 23, selected by the participating influencers themselves after personally using and rating the brands highly.
Additionally, the strongly recommended brand products were sold at discounts of up to 65%, and benefits such as a points accumulation event for those who signed up for live pre-notifications and a prize event communicating with influencers through Kakao Shopping Live’s new feature, the ‘Voting Quiz Game,’ were provided.
The event received positive responses from users, with cumulative viewership exceeding 1.4 million.
Meanwhile, Kakao Shopping Live previously held a ‘Beauty Creator Pick’ special event in collaboration with Leferi last November, which also received high acclaim.
