Ceragem announced on the 26th that it has introduced an automated process system for the first time and has begun full-scale operation.
Through this project, a one-stop automated production line system connecting separated production lines by process, such as main body assembly and packaging, was established. An automatic quality inspection system was introduced at the assembly stage to enable more thorough product testing and quality control. The automated process system is targeted for new production facilities. All products of the new Master V9 and some products of the Master V7 will be produced here.
Ceragem introduced the fixed automation system to improve the reliability of domestically produced healthcare appliances and enhance production efficiency. A Ceragem official explained, “We expect increased worker task and production efficiency, quality improvement through strengthened pre-defect testing, and strengthened manufacturing competitiveness through process standardization.”
Ceragem plans to expand the automated process system to the entire production line through continuous production investment in the future. Along with this, the company has set a goal to achieve a final automation rate of 62% by advancing the automation system for each major process stage, such as assembly, parts input, inspection, and packaging.
