According to Shinan Police on the 26th, the appointed members are residents who have a special interest and affection for the area. They will share information about crime victims in blind spots of public safety and various crimes occurring in the region, strengthening civilian-police cooperation and engaging in communication activities.

Chief Lee Eulsin stated, “The reason our Shinan Police Station was newly established is to reflect the residents' opinions to create a safer Shinan-gun free from crime,” and added, “We will activate the investigation partnership and participate in making Shinan a safe place that residents desire.”
