Goheung Aerospace Festival Opens Boom-Up Space Popup Show

Surprise Pop-Up Show at Suncheon Station Plaza on the 26th and Gwangju Chungjang-ro on the 27th

Gohung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) announced that it will promote a space pop-up show in Suncheon and Gwangju to pre-promote the 14th Gohung Aerospace Festival, which will be held at Naro Space Center from May 4 to 6.

The first space pop-up show will be held from 3 PM to 5 PM on April 26 around Suncheon Station Plaza, and the second pop-up show will take place at 2 PM the next day, April 27, in front of the post office on Chungjang-ro, Gwangju Metropolitan City.

This event aims to attract citizens' attention with performances and photo times by models wearing space suits with a future city concept, boosting the Gohung Aerospace Festival, one of Gohung's representative festivals.

An official from the county said, "At the Gohung Aerospace Festival, there will be a tour of the Nuriho launch site along with a special exhibition program featuring actual models of Naroho and Nuriho." He added, "Visitors can enjoy various space science experiences such as the astronaut carnival, KAIST moon exploration robot demonstration, and space food. We hope many children and youth will be able to nurture their dreams about space and their own futures here."
