"Run and Donate Trees" Hyundai Motor Eco-Friendly Campaign Accepting Entries Until Next Month 8

Hyundai Motor Company will begin recruiting participants for the running campaign Longest Run 2024 starting from the 26th. Recruitment is on a first-come, first-served basis until the 8th of next month. The event, which started in 2016 and is now in its 9th year, has seen 230,000 participants run a cumulative total of 7.02 million kilometers.

Through the running and walking coaching application RunDay, participants can take part in a challenge to complete running missions, a cooperative challenge where all participants run a combined total of 81,000 kilometers, and social media sharing events. The final run will take place on the 25th of next month, starting from Yeouido Park's Culture Square, passing over Seogang Bridge, and returning along a 10 km course.

Participants can join by completing the online event challenges or purchasing a 10,000 KRW donation participation ticket at Hyundai Motor's official online mall, Hyundai Shop. Customers who apply for a test drive of the Ioniq 5 can also receive participation tickets through a separate lottery. Hyundai Motor has donated trees for planting to the eco-friendly social contribution program Ioniq Forest through this campaign. This year, they plan to donate 3,000 trees.
