According to the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs on the 26th, the repatriation ceremony for the late veteran's remains will be held on the 29th at the arrival hall of Terminal 2, Incheon International Airport, and the burial ceremony will take place on May 2 at the Busan UN Memorial Cemetery, hosted by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Korea.

Mr. Titalebta served in the Dutch army's Van Heutsz unit from April 1953 to April 1954 during the Korean War. He participated in battles such as the Battle of Mukkok-ri on July 26, 1953, the day before the armistice agreement. The Dutch government recognized his contributions and awarded him a medal in 1984. His spouse, Mariana Titalebta, said, "My husband wished to be buried at the Busan UN Memorial Cemetery during his lifetime. I am glad that his will is being fulfilled."

The Busan UN Memorial Cemetery has been interring UN veterans or their families posthumously based on their wishes since May 2015, starting with the late French veteran Raymond Bernard. So far, the remains of 26 veterans from the UK, the US, the Netherlands, Canada, and other countries have been interred, and Mr. Titalebta will be the 27th case.
