Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, conducted a joint night patrol with civilians, government officials, and police around Daerim 2-dong Central Market on the afternoon of the 24th.
This patrol was carried out jointly by Mayor Choi, public officials, police, and heads and members of related organizations in Daerim 2-dong to prevent crime and create a safe Yeongdeungpo.
They patrolled the Daerim Central Market, where many residents gather, and nearby entertainment establishments to check for any dangers, communicating with merchants and urging compliance with safety management.
Additionally, they closely monitored areas prone to juvenile crime such as school surroundings and parks, striving to protect the safety of district residents.
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, said, “I thank everyone who participated in the night patrol activities to ensure a safe Yeongdeungpo District,” and added, “We will continue to activate cooperation with the local community to do our best so that residents can live safe and peaceful daily lives.”
