The Alumni Association of the Department of Chinese Studies at Gyeongnam National University delivered a university development fund of 50 million KRW to their alma mater at the president's office. The 'scholarship fundraising project' that has been carried out for over 20 years for the development of the university and its juniors bore fruit through this delivery ceremony.

원본보기 아이콘The development fund combined 25 million KRW from the Alumni Association of the Department of Chinese Studies and 25 million KRW contributed by Choi Suhak, CEO of Daejin General Construction.
At the delivery ceremony held on the 23rd, Chairman Choi said, “The scholarship fund that started with Professor Kim Jeong-yuk of the Department of Chinese Studies in the past is now being delivered as a development fund for the university's advancement,” and added, “As a prestigious private school representing the region, we will always support and encourage its leap toward the future.”
Park Jae-gyu, president of Gyeongnam National University, responded, “I would like to once again express my gratitude to the Alumni Association of the Department of Chinese Studies and Chairman Choi Suhak for donating the scholarship funds accumulated over a long period for the university and its students to the university's development. We will do our best to foster outstanding talents along with the university's development.”
