The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education announced that the 2024 local government employee recruitment exam applications closed with an average competition rate of 11 to 1.

By job category, Education Administration (General) had 689 applicants for 52 positions, showing a competition rate of 13.3 to 1. Additionally, within the same category, Education Administration (Disabled) recorded a competition rate of 4.8 to 1, and Education Administration (Low-income) had a rate of 11 to 1.

Other rates were 22.3 to 1 for Computer Science, 7.3 to 1 for Librarian, 6.1 to 1 for Facility Management (General), and 16 to 1 for Driver (General).

The written exam will be held on June 22, and the announcement of successful candidates for the written exam is scheduled for July 26.
