According to Nam-gu on the 23rd, the Happy Nam-gu Wall Writing Contest for the first half of the year will run until May 7.

The contest aims to display phrases containing small happiness and comfort proposed by residents in public places, allowing all residents to take time to reflect on everyday happiness and to cultivate hope and happiness in Nam-gu.

The theme of this contest is 'Happy N-Acrostic Poem,' and anyone who is a citizen of the Republic of Korea can participate.

Entries must be original works where the participant selects a happiness-related phrase consisting of 4 to 7 characters, then writes an acrostic poem from 4 to 7 lines using the first letter of each word as rhyme. The total number of characters, excluding spaces, should be around 50.

Contest-related documents can be downloaded from the notice section of the Nam-gu Office website, and submissions can be made via Naver Form or email.

Nam-gu will evaluate creativity, emotional impact, sincerity, effort, and empathy as criteria and plans to announce the winners from first to third place in June, awarding prizes ranging from 100,000 to 300,000 KRW.

Additionally, about 30 excellent works that do not place in the rankings will be selected and used as exhibits in the Happy Nam-gu Wall Exhibition held at public buildings within the district, as well as at the Street Food Zone and the Pureungil Big Expo Plaza.

Meanwhile, Nam-gu received 1,224 happiness phrases through two contests held in the first and second halves of last year, selecting winning works such as "It's okay to fall sometimes. Let's fall together" and "Turn your back and it's a stranger, lean your back and it's a wall, back to back is life."
