KB Securities to Lead '2024 Seoul International Garden Expo Corporate Accompanying Garden' Project

KB Securities announced on the 23rd that it held a business agreement ceremony with the Seoul Metropolitan Government for the creation project of the '2024 Seoul International Garden Expo Corporate Accompanying Garden.'

The business agreement ceremony took place on the 19th at the Seoul City Seosomun Office, attended by KB Securities' Head of Management Support Division Kang Jin-du, Seoul City’s Director of the Green City and Leisure Bureau Lee Soo-yeon, as well as representatives and officials from companies participating in the Corporate Accompanying Garden.

The Seoul International Garden Expo is Seoul’s representative garden festival created together with citizens, which started in 2015 and is now in its 9th edition this year. KB Securities decided to participate in the 2024 Seoul International Garden Expo Corporate Accompanying Garden as an eco-friendly themed social contribution project to provide resting spaces for citizens in the city and to regenerate the urban environment.

Through this social contribution project, KB Securities plans to create the 'Kkaebi Garden with KB Securities,' which embodies the company’s values and brand. The garden’s simple zigzag path ascending a low hill symbolizes growth, and a gold bar chair inside a yellow house at the hilltop adds a playful touch, offering visitors a fun photo zone. Additionally, the garden will express KB Financial Group’s symbolic color, yellow, with yellow flowers blooming seasonally and fallen leaves among the surrounding green plants.

The main event of the 2024 Seoul International Garden Expo, held at Ttukseom Hangang Park, will run from May 16 to May 22, 2024, with a permanent exhibition lasting until October 8. KB Securities will set up a promotional booth from May 16 to 19 and hold an event where visitors who take photos while viewing the Kkaebi Garden with KB Securities and verify them at the booth will receive eco-bags.

The created Kkaebi Garden with KB Securities will continue to be maintained by the Seoul Metropolitan Government even after the Seoul International Garden Expo.
