Hoban Construction is currently conducting the ‘2024 New Construction Methods and New Materials Proposal Contest’ to promote mutual growth with its partner companies.
This contest was organized to support partner companies that possess ideas and technical skills but face difficulties such as lack of funding. Companies with new technologies related to architecture, civil engineering, and other fields are given the opportunity to participate, even if they are not registered as partners of Hoban Construction. Applications can be submitted via email to the Hoban Construction Outsourcing Cooperation Team representative by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, the 30th. Detailed information about the contest can be found on the Hoban Construction B2B website.
The contest themes include ▲technologies and new construction methods aimed at improving construction processes, ▲products and new materials expected to enhance efficiency, and ▲other recommended proprietary technologies, allowing for a wide range of proposals. Selected proposals will undergo review by the Hoban Construction Technical Review Committee, followed by simulated verification and feedback, with plans to apply them on actual sites. Outstanding partner companies with winning proposals will receive benefits such as collaboration opportunities and negotiated contracts.
A representative from the Hoban Construction Outsourcing Cooperation Team stated, “Maintaining a horizontal relationship and engaging in diverse communication with partner companies is especially important during challenging times in the construction industry,” adding, “Hoban Construction is continuously striving to actively support the capabilities of its partners and foster an atmosphere of mutual growth.”
Meanwhile, Hoban Group, including Hoban Construction, is making various efforts to promote win-win cooperation with its partner companies. Earlier this year, Hoban Group held an ‘Excellent Partner Company Awards Ceremony,’ presenting plaques of appreciation and prize money to 42 outstanding partner companies across three categories: architecture, civil engineering, and safety. Hoban Construction and Hoban Industry, the construction affiliates of Hoban Group, selected excellent partner companies last year through a fair evaluation of those who performed construction work.
Additionally, Hoban Group, including Hoban Construction, provided emergency management stabilization funds last year and has been making early cash payments for construction fees every month. As the first in the construction industry, Hoban Group signed an agreement with the Win-Win Growth Committee to support partner companies’ ESG initiatives through the ‘Partner Company ESG Support Project.’ Over the past six years, Hoban Group, including Hoban Construction, has contributed a total of 85.6 billion KRW to the Large and Small Business Win-Win Cooperation Fund.
