Busan Small and Medium Business Convergence Association 'Bumihwe' Donates 10 Million KRW to Dong-Eui University Development Fund

LINC3.0 Project Group, Industry-Academia Council Technology and Information Exchange

Dong-Eui University (President Han Su-hwan) announced on the 22nd that Bumihoe (President So Soon-min), a small group of representatives from small and medium-sized enterprises in the Busan area, donated 10 million KRW to the university development fund on the 18th.


The development fund donation ceremony held at the Dong-Eui University president's office was attended by President Han Su-hwan, Kim Hyun-soo, Director of the Family Company Cooperation Center of the LINC3.0 Project Group, Kim Chi-yong, Director of External Cooperation, and university officials, as well as So Soon-min, President of Bumihoe (CEO of Shinmi Precision Co., Ltd.), Ji Myung-hwan, Senior Vice President (CEO of Yoomyung Wood Industry), Hong Jae-wook, Vice President (CEO of Y&V), and Kim Young-jin, Vice President (CEO of Woojin STS).


President So Soon-min said, “Bumihoe has received great help in various technology developments and management strategies through the industry-academia cooperation activities of Dong-Eui University’s LINC3.0 Project Group,” and added, “We hope to achieve mutual growth through active exchange and cooperation with the university.”


Bumihoe, which means “Busan’s Future,” consists of representatives from about 30 member companies belonging to the Busan Small and Medium Business Convergence Association. They hold monthly meetings to explore ways to develop the region and businesses, as well as engage in activities such as management strategy and technology exchange.
