Gwangju National Science Museum Receives 'Excellent' Rating in Public Institution Customer Satisfaction Survey

The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 18th that it received an 'Excellent' rating in the public institution customer satisfaction survey conducted by the Ministry of Economy and Finance last year.

The public institution customer satisfaction survey is conducted annually by the Ministry of Economy and Finance to promote customer-centered management in public institutions. This year, the survey measured service levels across 183 public institutions nationwide, including public enterprises and quasi-governmental organizations.


As a result of the survey, the National Gwangju Science Museum earned the highest rating of 'Excellent,' once again proving itself as the central institution for spreading science culture in the Honam region, beloved by the public.


Marking its 11th anniversary this year, the National Gwangju Science Museum has adopted the vision of being a "Cradle for Nurturing Creative Future Science Talents" and provides exhibition and educational services that prioritize customer satisfaction.


To improve customer service levels, the museum analyzes customer satisfaction evaluation results annually and conducts supplementary training focused on customer perspectives. It also carries out its own customer satisfaction evaluations at least once a year to inspect service quality and identify areas for improvement, continuously striving to enhance customer satisfaction.


Additionally, by operating the public communication groups ‘Science Mom Club’ and ‘Luchesta,’ the museum directly collects feedback on inconveniences, improvements, and new ideas from visitors and reflects these in its improvements, always listening attentively to the voices of its customers.


Jung Jeong-in, Manager of the Exhibition Operations Center at the National Gwangju Science Museum, said, “It is rewarding and gratifying to see the customer satisfaction survey results conducted annually by the Ministry of Economy and Finance steadily improve.
