Atomy Chairman Park Han-gil stated on the 19th, "Sharing should start now, beginning with what is close and small."

Chairman Park said during a special lecture for public officials at Sejong City Hall on the 18th, "After founding Atomy, I received my first monthly salary of 2 million won within a few months and donated 200,000 won to elementary school meal expenses."

He especially emphasized, "If sharing is done unconditionally, one may face a situation where there is nothing left to share," adding, "It is important to have sharing that creates sustainable value rather than one-time scattered donations."

Earlier, Chairman Park designated a donation of 840 million won to Sejong City.

Sejong City plans to use Chairman Park's donation for supporting the learning of underprivileged children at 30 institutions including the Sejong City Disabled Welfare Center, and for installing mobile ramps at shelters for disabled victims.

According to Atomy and 'CEO Score Daily,' Atomy was the only company among the top 500 companies in 2021 and 2022 to have a donation ratio exceeding 2% of sales.

The main donation details include 10 billion won to the Community Chest of Korea’s Saengso Mom (Moms Who Cherish Life) fund, approximately 25 billion won to the international child care organization Compassion, monthly support for 10,000 Compassion children (Atomy) and 1,000 children (Chairman Park Han-gil), 2.7 billion won for the construction of Jeonju Jesus Hospital Public Children's Rehabilitation Hospital, and over 2 billion won to Siloam Eye Hospital.
