The three major indices of the U.S. New York stock market all closed lower on the 17th (local time).
On this day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.12% compared to the previous trading day. The S&P 500 index, focused on large-cap stocks, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq index closed down 0.58% and 1.15%, respectively, compared to the previous trading day.
