Gyeonggi Office of Education Creates 'Resource Map' Containing Information on Educational Care Services

The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education has collaborated with 31 local governments and 25 education support offices within the province to create a resource map that provides information on local educational care services.

The resource map includes information on Neulbom Classrooms (2,980 rooms), Neulbom Shared Schools (168 locations), Community Child Centers (770 locations), Youth After-School Academies (54 locations), and Together Care Centers (310 locations) within the province.

It provides details such as support contents by institution, addresses, capacity, operating hours, and contact information, allowing parents to know where and what kind of care their children can receive.

The resource map is provided to students and parents through websites, brochures, and home correspondence letters.

Additionally, following a business agreement signed last month on the 27th with the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency to strengthen the Neulbom School environment, the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will also sign a business agreement with the Gyeonggi Northern Police Agency at the end of this month.

Through these agreements, activities such as increased patrols around Neulbom Schools, crime prevention assessments, traffic facility inspections, and traffic safety education tailored to children's perspectives will be conducted.

Kim Insuk, the regional education officer of the Provincial Office of Education, stated, "We will establish a thorough Neulbom support system without blind spots by cooperating with related organizations such as local governments and police agencies."
