The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 16th that it received the highest grade, "Excellent," in the "2023 Public Institution Win-Win Growth Evaluation" conducted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The Corporation was selected as an excellent institution for two consecutive years following last year.
The Public Institution Win-Win Growth Evaluation has been conducted annually since 2007 to promote a culture of win-win growth and mutual cooperation through the leading roles and efforts of public institutions. This year's evaluation covered a total of 134 institutions, and the Corporation was included among the 25 institutions that received the excellent grade out of 102 quasi-governmental and other types of institutions.
Last year, the Corporation's representative achievements included ▲ securing a new budget for the Win-Win Growth Network Loan ▲ strengthening ESG supply chain co-support ▲ establishing a system for a large and small business mutual growth structural innovation model. In particular, the newly secured 100 billion KRW budget for the "Win-Win Growth Network Loan" was highly evaluated as it laid the foundation for win-win growth among large, medium, and small enterprises. The Win-Win Growth Network Loan is a policy fund where small and medium enterprises recommended by ordering companies such as large and medium-sized enterprises can borrow production funds up to 80% of the order amount based on delivery orders, and the ordering companies repay after delivery.
Kang Seok-jin, Chairman of the Corporation, said, "Based on our efforts to strengthen the competitiveness and innovative growth of small and medium enterprises, we achieved the highest grade in the Win-Win Growth Evaluation for two consecutive years," adding, "We will continue to take the lead in building a sustainable win-win growth ecosystem and spreading ESG management among small and medium enterprises."
