Gyeonggi Province began operating the ‘Easy (EG) Tour Bus’ from the 16th, providing transportation convenience for foreign tourists.
The Easy Tour Bus stands for ‘Explore Gyeonggi-do Enjoy G-Shuttle’ and ‘Easy Gyeonggi-Shuttle,’ serving as a tour-linked transportation service for individual foreign tourists visiting Gyeonggi Province.
Starting from Seoul, it travels to major tourist attractions across different areas of Gyeonggi Province, with its first operation launched in 2017 to attract foreign tourists to the province.
This year, Gyeonggi Province operates a total of seven Easy Tour Bus routes.
First, the Paju route is themed around the DMZ experience, passing through Imjingak, Peace Gondola, Camp Greaves, and the Unification Observatory. It operates only on Tuesdays.
The Suwon-Yongin route is themed on Hallyu, traditional culture, and food, passing through Suwon Hwaseong Fortress, Korean Folk Village, and Suwon Nammun Market. It operates only on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
The Pocheon route is themed on night tours and experiential activities, passing through Pocheon Art Valley and Herb Island. It operates only on Thursdays and Sundays.
The Bucheon-Gimpo (Paju) route focuses on the DMZ, traditional culture, and food, passing through Gimpo Aegibong, Bucheon Hanok Village, Bucheon Comic Museum, and Bucheon Free Market. Occasionally, it may also pass through Paju Publishing Complex or Paju Premium Outlets. It operates only from Friday to Sunday.
The Icheon-Yongin route is themed on night tours and food, passing through Ijin Sanghoe, Icheon Ceramic Village, and Korean Folk Village. Occasionally, it may visit Icheon Premium Outlets or Starlight Garden Uju. It operates from Friday to Sunday.
The Yangpyeong route is focused on food and experiential activities, passing through Dumulmeori, Yangsu-ri Traditional Market, and Sumi Village. Occasionally, it offers bicycle and strawberry picking experiences. It operates from Friday to Sunday.
The Gapyeong route is themed on healing, passing through The Garden of Morning Calm, Petite France, and Italian Village. Occasionally, it may visit Gapyeong Begonia. It operates only on Thursdays.
All routes are one-day tours departing from locations such as Hongdae Entrance in Seoul and returning to the starting point. The fare ranges from a minimum of 55,000 KRW to a maximum of 120,000 KRW for adults. Tickets are sold through online travel product platforms (OTA) such as Klook, KKday, Tripadvisor, and Ctrip (CTRIP).
In addition to the existing popular routes themed on the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and traditional culture, Gyeonggi Province has recently enhanced night tourism, food, and experiential elements in line with current tourism trends. Irregular routes will actively incorporate specialized content reflecting seasonal local festivals and events.
