[Weather] Carry an Umbrella on the Morning Commute on the 15th... Rain Nationwide, Daytime High Temperature 21°C

On Monday the 15th, rain is expected nationwide during the morning commute.

The Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that rain will begin from the night of the 14th starting in Jeju Island, then spread to the Seoul metropolitan area, Chungnam region, Jeolla region, and western Gyeongnam. Between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., the rain will expand across the entire country. Most of this rain is expected to stop by the morning of the 16th.

Expected precipitation amounts are 5 to 40mm in Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, and the five western islands, 5 to 30mm in Gangwon and Chungcheong regions, 20 to 60mm in Jeolla region, and 30 to 100mm in Jeju Island.

Daytime temperatures will drop by 5 to 10 degrees compared to today, hovering around 20 degrees Celsius in most parts of the country due to the rain. The morning low on the 15th will be between 12 and 18 degrees, and the daytime high will be between 17 and 21 degrees Celsius.

The Korea Meteorological Administration advised, "Dense sea fog is expected in some areas for the time being. Especially over the West Sea, very dense sea fog may disrupt ship navigation, so maritime travelers are advised to check sailing information in advance."

Additionally, "From tonight through tomorrow, there may be gusts of wind accompanied by thunder and lightning over the West Sea, South Sea, and Jeju Island waters, so ships navigating or fishing in these areas should exercise caution," they added.
